Bazan, Israel's largest oil refinery firm, confirmed the full shutdown of all its facilities at Haifa Port following damage from an Iranian missile strike.

The pre-dawn attack on Monday resulted in the deaths of three company employees and triggered fires across the vital industrial complex. Video footage captured visible flames, while firefighting teams continued battling the blaze, according to a report by Xinhua news agency citing the Israeli daily Ha'aretz.

"The power station responsible for part of the steam and electricity production used by the group's facilities sustained significant damage, alongside additional impacts," the company said in a filing to the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.

"At this stage, all refinery and subsidiary facilities have been shut down," it added.

Bazan stated it was still evaluating the full extent of the damage and its operational implications, as well as determining the most effective response to the situation.

The Iranian strike occurred during a deadly four-day aerial conflict between the Islamic Republic and Israel, which has claimed the lives of at least 244 people in Iran and 24 in Israel. The violence escalated after Israel launched surprise airstrikes across Iran on Friday.

In a renewed attack early Monday, Iran fired a wave of missiles at Israel, killing at least eight people and injuring dozens more, according to Israeli officials. The intensified hostilities set off air raid sirens across the country and sent plumes of black smoke over Haifa, a key northern coastal city. Eyewitnesses reported a series of explosions in both northern and central Israel.

Authorities confirmed casualties in several areas. In Petah Tikva, a city just east of Tel Aviv, four individuals died when a missile hit a residential building. Mayor Rami Greenberg reported that hundreds of residents from the affected building and three nearby ones were evacuated. Images from the scene showed high-rise buildings with severe blast damage and debris scattered across the area.
