GHANA'S FIRST OIL EXPLORATION AND PRODUCTION COMPANY: SPRINGFIELD E&P
It is very rare to come across a local company that has the technical expertise and financial capacity to explore and produce hydrocarbons, especially in a developing country like Ghana, a country that began commercial oil production just in 2011. In the exploration and production space of oil and gas, some names like ENI, Kosmos, Aker, Tullow and the likes are very common to hear. Until about 2016, a new age of local participation in the exploration and production of oil and gas began with a company called Springfield Exploration and Production (SEP).
